Beautiful Comfortable House w/ Fireplace

This is a very lovely home within a nice neighborhood in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and recreation in Woodstock. It is nicely decorated, but could use more seating. The family room only had enough seating for five adults although the bedrooms could accommodate eight. The only seating for having meals is in the dining room with table seating for six. The room adjoining the dining room only had one oversized chair and a treadmill. The foyer floor was not clean when we arrived, and the only thing in the house to clean it was a swiffer jet mop which did nothing more than move the dirt around. We like to walk around without shoes, so that was unpleasant. There is a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom that was out of order. There are only two bathrooms in this home, so having one tub out of order while traveling with a baby was very inconvenient, primarily, because the only other tub was being shared with multiple people and there were no cleaning supplies left in the house to clean the tub between use. There were a few other minor maintenance issues, also, such as a very loose toilet seat and a dirty pantry. There just needs to be better attention payed to cleanliness. The glass front storm door and back glass sliding door needed to be cleaned and the grass needed to be cut. Although we didn't use it because of the weather, there is a very nice deck with a large table and grill. VRBO commercials promote having the whole home to yourself. Although we did have the main part of the house to ourselves, there was someone living in the basement, so be aware if that is important to you. All in all, these issues mentioned were manageable for a short stay, but would have been a nuisance if we had been there for a week. I would stay again if these issues are corrected.
